5. Business Schools Going All-In on AI

The Wall Street Journal has a profile today looking at how aggressively American M.B.A. programs are retrofitting their curriculums to reflect the new reality of artificial intelligence. Interestingly, they seem to be in the camp of not trying to “beat” AI, but to adapt to it.

4. George Carlin Estate Settles Around AI Fake

A couple months ago when a podcast launched a fake George Carlin special called “I’m Glad I’m Dead,” it made headlines. The Carlin estate was none too happy, and have now reached a settlement with the podcast creators.

3. Judge Bans AI-Enhanced Video as Trial Evidence

A Washington State judge has ruled that AI-enhanced videos cannot be used in the trial of a suspected multi-murderer. The judge wrote that he believed that it would muddle eyewitness testimony and lead to confusion.

The battle for AI talent is extremely intense. Fortune reports that three high profile Meta AI employees have recently left the company to start their own endeavors. Meanwhile, OpenAI’s head of developer relations is now running Google’s AI Studio.
